Like all Superbells, this variety prefers a "dry-to-the-touch" watering cycle. The soil should be allowed to dry out slightly on the surface before the next thorough watering. Avoid keeping the soil constantly saturated, as this is the primary cause of root health issues in this genus.
Excellent drainage is mandatory. This plant is best suited for containers, hanging baskets, and raised window boxes where the soil environment can be controlled. It thrives in a high-quality potting mix with a slightly acidic pH (5.5–5.8). If the pH is too high, the leaves may become yellow (chlorotic).
